President's Message

Chanel Price, PresidentGreetings from the SAVVY Sacramento Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our illustrious organization.

Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2-19, dedicated to nurturing future African-American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, financial literacy, philanthropic giving and civic duty.

In June 1956, the Sacramento Chapter received its charter at the National Convention held in Cleveland, Ohio. We have provided over 60 years of service to the greater Sacramento community. Our purpose is to create a medium of contact for children which will stimulate growth and development and to provide a constructive educational, cultural, civic, recreational, and social program. We take tremendous pride in providing engaging programs that are centered around our National Theme, "The Power to Make a Difference." We have always made a difference, and we will continue to do so for many years to come.

As a chapter, we have a phenomenal group of mothers who have diverse backgrounds, talents and strengths. Together, we are committed to encourage, enhance and elevate our children to achieve their highest potential by equipping them with the tools to become tomorrow's leaders.

I am humbled and honored to serve as the 32nd President of the Sacramento Chapter. I encourage you to peruse our website and learn more about our premier organization for African American families.

Yours in Service,

Chanel Price
Sacramento Chapter President

Let's work, let's play, let's live together forever.

We're one big family of love with blessings from God up above.

Gain our children's trust, make them leaders we must, to believe in themselves, to achieve and excel.

Long live Jack and Jill.
