The organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, and seeks for all children the advantages it desires for its own -- while making a difference in the lives of families and those in the communities it serves. Since 1956, the Sacramento Chapter has continued to build on the goals of the National Organization -- which was founded in 1938 and incorporated in 1941.
